Rome, Campo de’ Fiori – February, 17th AD 1600

408 years ago, Holy Roman Catholic Church killed a scientist.

He was burnt on the stakes.

His name was Giordano Bruno.

He believed in God, he respected God, but thought the Church was wrong on many respects.

Holy Mother Church disliked this criticism and decided to sentence Giordano Bruno guilty for heresy.

It happened an age ago, but I think nobody asked anyone for forgive.

Holy Mother Church still speaks against science, blindly.
